20 Week Bumpdate (Halfway to the Babe)

Wow, 20 weeks!!

Somebody told me that when you're pregnant, the days go by slowly and the weeks fly by--that is soooo true. I feel like I've been pregnant for 5 years now but at the same time it's going by so quickly (I think that makes sense?)!

It's been a very good and busy week for Baby and me!
Umm, last nights episode of Breaking Bad--AHH!
How far along: 20 weeks, 1 day (still sticking with the original due date--we'll know more next Monday :D).

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Still sitting right at my pre-pregnancy weight.

Maternity clothes: Nope.

Stretch marks: Noooo!

Sleep: I slept okay this week.. there were a few times I woke up super early (like, 4:30ish) and came out to the living room to read.. I've been keeping really busy with work and house decorating which keeps me moving during the day (no time for a nap!).

Best moment last week: I had an appointment with my back specialist to talk labor/delivery and whether or not I'll be able to do it naturally (I have a rod on my spine because of my Scheuermann's disease)--sounds like delivering won't mess up/break my back! He said that the extra weight I gain while carrying the baby may hurt it but that was to be expected.. hopefully it isn't an issue though!

Movement: I had a few weird cramps yesterday but I still don't know if that's the baby moving or if it's just growing pains.. I know that Baby moves around a lot though because my askew bump will be on one side of my lower abdomen when I go to sleep and on the other side when I wake up.

Food cravings/aversions: I just love food! Still liking sweets but I try to limit myself as much as possible. I eat a lot of yogurt, chicken, protein bars, etc.

Gender: We find out one week from today!

Labor signs: Nooo!

Belly button - in or out? Innie.

What I miss: Nothing this week.. I'm feeling very content!

What I am looking forward to: Finding out Baby's gender in a week!! I'm dying to start buying cute little clothes!

Milestones: We got the guest room moved downstairs so now I can start working on the nursery!

  1. I'm so excited for you to find out whether it's a he or a she! It gets so weird saying "baby" or "it" all the time, haha :)

  3. Hurray 20 weeks!!! I bet the 'cramps' you're feeling are baby moving!! I have been hypertuned in to my little babe, and I feel it move all the time now! The closest thing I can compare it to is the drumming of fingers but inside. So strange but awesome!! We find out what we're having TOMORROW and I am just overflowing with excitement!! Glad you're feeling well lady!!
